We loveeeee Vintana happy hour!! Everything on the happy hour menu (3-5pm) is $10 and it’s SO GOOD. Literally best ceviche I’ve ever had and the chef Deborah’s Brie platter is a must. For drinks we always get the black rose, the coconut margarita, and the fresh perspective. You can literally feast for $40 per person. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful happy hour menu with our 4 kids. The baked Brie, Korean chicken wings, calamari, and burgers were a hit with everyone. Great cocktails also. We will be back!

A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Vintana Wine + Dine …During our stay at Wyndham Oceanside, we attended a presentation and asked for a recommendation for a great restaurant being seasoned travelers and food lovers. Without hesitation, Vintana Wine + Dine was suggested, as we had already dined several times at 333 Pacific. I originally booked a 7:00 PM dinner reservation for my birthday, but made a last-minute change after checking the menu I was suddenly craving oysters and decided to switch to lunch instead. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. Madeleine at the reception warmly welcomed us and kindly asked us to wait a few minutes. I eagerly scanned the menu but didn’t see oysters listed. We mentioned this to Ron, our host, and told him to surprise us—we trusted him completely to make my birthday special. Ron took the lead, recommending the wine and food selections, and he did not disappoint. He was extremely polite, attentive, and professional. As first-time guests at Vintana, we truly wanted the experience to be unforgettable and Ron delivered 100%. He made us feel like family, not just customers. I highly recommend Vintana Wine + Dine to anyone visiting the area. It’s a must-visit, and I especially look forward to dining with Ron again. Thank you for making my birthday so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

One of my favorite restaurants in the Escondido area. Came here for happy hour on my last trip to San Diego. Everything on the happy hour menu is $10 which is a steal. Some of the dishes I recommend are: green goddess hummus, shishito peppers, and Korean style chicken wings. Portions are made to share. Many options on the drink menu. Staff is great. Always a good time here.

Today I had the opportunity to celebrate my birthday at the Vintana wine and dine,
Justin was very attentive and suggested the short ribs which were elegant and exquisite,
We tried a couple of the salads, the Caesar salad and The farmers market greens and both were delicious. We will definitely be coming back for some more of the farmer market greens.
This was definitely an unforgettable experience.

Had a wonderful celebratory dinner. We all got something different, so we got to "try" some of the other choices. I had the pan seared salmon with a veggie/bean cake. Both were outstanding. Staff was on-the-ball, too.
Dunno what the yellow sauce was, but with the salmon, it was synergistic.
Just revisited again, on Christmas Eve (2025) for their 3-course. I had the filet. I requested it "med-well." Usually, chefs won't want to cook to med-well, as it may dry out and ruin the meat. The chef here accommodated my med-well request and still delivered a moist/flavor full entré. I topped it off with the chocolate trifle dessert. Just awesome!

This modern American fusion spot in Escondido features clean, stylish facilities and a tightly run floor team. The service is consistent and professional - a well-oiled machine.
The Food
🦪 The Standout: The Black Mussels were the highlight. Plump and fresh, served in a flavorful coconut curry sauce (slightly spicy and salty) with grilled toast points.
🍗 Korean Chicken Wings: Hot, crispy skin with tender meat, coated in a sticky sweet/spicy glaze.
🥟 Chicken Gyoza: Nicely steamed with soft wrappers. Uniquely presented on a bed of cold noodles with a black sesame/herb crust and fresh veggies.
🌶️ Shishito Peppers: A mix of slightly spicy and sweet flavors, served with a healthy portion of crisp pork belly chunks.
🍔 Bacon Burger: The half-pound patty and hearty bacon slices were impressive, and the herb-crusted fries were flavorful. The bun was slightly drier than preferred, which held the dish back slightly.
Value & Service
💰 Happy Hour: Held Tuesday through Sunday in the afternoon. The $10 dishes provide excellent value for the quality of food.
⭐ Service: Special thanks to Izzy (bartender/server) for the excellent wine recommendations and for looking out for the kids!
Overall
A polished spot for modern fusion with an great Happy Hour and a family-friendly (yet stylish) atmosphere.

We went there last Saturday for my daughter’s 3 year old birthday and the experience was fantastic!
We sat at table 48 and it was perfect for us since our toddler could get a little grumpy in a restaurant, we didn’t want to bother other customers. The food was amazing, the portions were bigger than we expected so we ended up packing a lot of food home. And our server Nick (or Nicolas) was very very nice! The manager Robert was very nice too.
It was our first time visiting Vintana and we are pretty sure we will visit again in the future :)
Ps: we thought we might get a small tiny treat since we noted “birthday celebration” when we made a reservation, but we didn’t get anything 😆😆😆 but it’s okay, we still had a good time. Thank you!

Beautiful space, beautiful food, excellent service - you may not expect fine dining in Escondido, much less an auto dealership, but this is a destination, dining experience.
My sister brought me here for my last day of my visit, and she kept raving about the popovers. She was right, they were an excellent bread course - crispy exterior with an airy, buttery interior.
She also insisted we get the pepita and sesame crusted Brie - I liked it better with the popover rather than the garlic crostini.
We both selected fish courses: she got the Macadamia & Coconut Crusted Sea Bass, and I chose the Everything Crusted Ahi Tuna. There was so much going on the plates, but all the elements balanced each other out perfectly. Portions were huge, so we only ate half in order to be able to try the Ube Cheesecake.
The cheesecake was also huge and unlike any other Ube Cheesecake I’ve tried! Those little mounds of ube halaya on top are genius, I’ll be doing the same when I make them at home.
We chose to sit inside, and I requested a table next to the window, which overlooks a beautiful fountain below. In the warmer months, I’d choose to sit outdoors, that space looked so cozy and inviting.
Our server was awesome, he let us know that if we signed up for their loyalty program, we would get 10% off our first bill. The restaurant is part of a larger restaurant group with locations around the country, including Hawaii.

We’ve been following renowned executive chef Deborah Scott for years, so we knew our bellies were in the right place. However, the service we received from Issac and Emma was absolutely impeccable. This team of servers went above and beyond, were attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, and made for an evening we will never forget.
The cocktails, popovers, and sampling of the steak tartare set the tone right away. Next up was the light and crunchy kung pao calamari, shishito peppers with pork belly, and the crusted brie with crostini. Do not pass on these appetizers, you will not be disappointed.
Everyone enjoyed their entrées, but the showstopper was the unbelievably creative and delectable desserts. Ohhh myyy gosh, the ube cheesecake and mud pie are to die for, but the warm butter cake is what I would choose if it was my last meal on this earth.
Vintana is a true gem in Escondido. Service is exceptional. Food is amazing. Thank you for a wonderful evening
